We, Sumitomo Shoji Chemicals Co., Ltd., have been growing on the axis of trading chemicals and electronics materials as a member of Sumitomo Corporation Group, since our establishment in 1968.
In 2018, the 50th anniversary of our company’s establishment, we adopted the corporate slogan of “Eye on the Now, View to the Future.” These words express the future of the chemicals and electronics materials industry, which holds great potential, and we shall discover new business opportunities by leveraging the relationship and networks we have built up with our customers over half a century. We would like to change the world by doing so, and we would like to be a company that takes responsibility for those changes.
There is no change in those words and thoughts. However, the chemicals and electronics materials industry will continue to be essential for people to lead comfortable and prosperous lives, while at same time existing in harmony with the global environment. While pursuing new business opportunities by constantly creating new value, we will boldly take on the challenge of solving social issues such as carbon neutralization and building a circular economy.
